I Love Our Little CULTure
November 24, 2009
Dearest companions in faith,
How my heart goes out to our little band of peoples. I love you with an everlasting love and I continually hold you close to my heart.
I have been noticing how the media has referred to us as a cult sometimes, as though it had some dangerous implication in the term. I have always considered a cult merely a culture, and everyone is in one kind of cult or another. I asked a sheriff one time what a cult was. He said a cult is a group that deviates from the social norm. A cult home-schools; a cult might be vegetarian. He said that if they deviated from the normal public school/McDonald’s social norm, they would be a “cult.”
The psychiatrist here asked me to define my faith, since she heard that we were in a cult. I told her what I believed, but she then remarked that I was not in a cult. A cult to her was someone who did not believe in the saving grace of the blood of Christ. To her, a cult does not believe in the Bible. We believe in the blood (Life) of Christ and in the inspiration of the written word, so to her we were not a cult. It all depends on your definition of what the word “cult” means.
In the dictionary, a cult is merely a peculiar sect. The sect is differentiated by its particular beliefs and practices. Some of the people in our country think we are strange because of the seven women, or the seven virgins, or the way I prayed for healing. They think we are strange because of me being a “messiah” – meaning having an anointing from God. But why don’t these souls look at their own lives, before they look at ours? Why don’t they stand in front of the mirror and see their own cult? It is because they are used to the strangeness and consider it normal.
My definition of a cult is very close to the dictionary definition. I use “cult” to mean a culture. A cult, or a title of being a cult, if placed upon our church, would have to be placed also upon the Roman Catholic church, the Mormon church, the Seventh Day Adventist church, the Jehovah’s Witnesses church, the Pentecostal churches and thousands of others.
Everyone has beliefs that someone else would call strange. Some UFO congregations are called cults. Even the United States of America has to be described as a secular cult, because of its culture. Now just think of it: Americans in the United States pledge allegiance to a flag. In our cult, we don’t do that. They stand with their hand over their heart and pledge allegiance not to God, or even a man, but a flag. Consider that. Is not that strange? But what does the pledge say? It says, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
No, the United States is not under God. That is a ridiculous notion, considering how Americans behave. Would Jesus do what Americans do? Compare and see. Would Jesus have invaded Iraq, killing thousands of innocent people? Seems to me that Jesus said something about turning the other cheek. And with liberty and justice for all? Oh, right; do tell. And I was given justice when I was accused and convicted for a crime that I did not commit? Most of my witnesses at the trial were not allowed to speak and testify. Oh, am I at liberty in my prison house over this injustice? Isn’t this somewhat cultish? Some may be at liberty and some may get justice, but I have not seen it. “Liberty and justice for all” is simply untrue.
Americans have a certain view of themselves that makes them feel superior to other peoples. This is especially true if they are poor, or people of color. I have even seen people of color in America express superiority over people of color in, say, Africa. This could very well be considered a cultish attitude.
In the military of this earth cult, there is a training called boot camp. That is what they called it when I went in the Navy. For weeks, the inductees are brainwashed to loyalty to the ruling officers. I have seen no cult on earth that’s more obviously dominant and controlling over the minds of its people than the US military. My cult members never have to snap to attention and salute a man.
They are beaten down in the military until they say, “Yes, Sir” just right. Our own culture has never used anything like that to bring its adherents into harmony. We have only used the truth. But the military uses force and make-believe. They say, “We want a few good men.” If anyone can find one good man on earth, let me know; I would like to meet him. But some in the military like to pretend that they are good or strong or noble. But have you noticed? — they all wear the same clothes. The truth is, the military is made up of men with guns who have pledged unswerving obedience to other men who tell them who to kill. Is not that cultish? An inmate associate of mine here, who used to be in the American “black operations” of assassinations, said to me that he even killed children if they just happened to be in the mix. He told me that once he asked his superior officer what excuse should he give his men for what he was about to command them to do. His commanding officer said, “Just follow orders.” Now, little family of mine, that is a cult!
Yes, our culture has had some strange things in it, but not more strange than some of the things in other cults. The Roman Catholics once burned or tortured Protestants. Our church has not done that. In World War II, my Uncle Herbert was part of the invading American force in Europe. He told me that sometimes he would come upon a Catholic church and they would find a torture chamber in the basement of the church. Now most regular churches don’t use torture, so that would set Catholics apart as a cult. The Roman Catholic leaders also dress differently than the leaders in other religions. I’m not saying that this is wrong or even bad, but it does make them a “culture.” They are a “cult” because they are different. I don’t know any other religion who prays to the “Mother of God” — that would also set them apart. They have a belief that the bread or “host” that they eat at Mass is actually the flesh of Jesus Christ. Would that not be cannibalism?
I don’t mean to be disrespectful; I’m just showing how we have been treated, because they do not understand why we do things. The Pentecostals do strange things also. They cry in the spirit, laugh in the spirit, or even get drunk in the spirit. I have seen them slide off their chairs, drunk in the spirit. I would rather be sober in the spirit, but then that is my religious choice. They also utter some strange sounds that they call “speaking in tongues.” It doesn’t help me, though, because I have no idea what they are saying. But this is a cult; they are different than most “normal” people.
If I believed like most of those believed who put me in prison, I would have to put all of these other cult leaders in prison because they did things that are strange, like they say I do. But people say, “Yes, but they are not illegal things.” Oh? Is not serving alcoholic beverages to minors at Mass illegal? Well, no. They made a law up for themselves that exempted them. Some Jews circumcise their young boys and then suck the blood from the penis with their mouth. Is that not oral copulation of a minor? Well, there are laws that permit this, I guess, even though some children die from infection because of it. Their cult leaders do not go to prison for their strange acts, but I was put in prison for things not nearly as strange as their strange acts.
Mormons have “temple rites,” but no one talks about them. What goes on in their temple? I have openly shared what we have done in our church. Why don’t other cultures share all that they do? Are they hiding something? I’m not hiding anything.
Why do people have to kill or imprison people who do not agree with them? If I am put in prison, why is not everyone else put here for their strange acts? I just can’t figure it. I’m not being facetious, I mean it; can’t people see themselves? Evidently not. They just point the finger at someone else.
The TV media is a cult also. They all, to a man or a woman, painted me the same way. They all used the same twisted spiritual logic. “Wayne Bent, the convicted sex offender, self-proclaimed messiah and cult leader, was in court again today…” Oh, what a list of public expletives to just say I went to court. Why did they not just say the truth? They could have said, “Wayne Bent, the falsely convicted church pastor whom God named His Messiah — there were no witnesses in his trial accusing him of sex crimes, but the state managed to get him convicted without any crime being committed — he is in court today…”
No, this is not how the earth cult views things. The earth cult rushes to judgment, condemnation, and prison toward anyone they feel prejudice towards. They are a cult of self-proclaimed journalists and character assassins. Journalists should tell the truth — the truths that are clearly evident. But instead, they tend to parrot the cult line with any other force that they view as a threat to their own authority. They did this with me, with the president of Iran, with Saddam Hussein, the president of Serbia, before they hauled him off to die at the World Court. They say, “But Saddam Hussein gassed 168 people of the Kurds; he needed to be brought to justice and executed.” President Bush said, “He gassed his own people.” Well, Bill Clinton gassed his own people, the Branch Davidians. President Bush killed far more Iraqis than 168. Many thousands died. Well, the difference is that Mr. Bush and Mr. Clinton were the cult leaders, and there are exemptions for their own cult leaders. Besides, all of their followers in the military have all the guns. Gulp!! “Okay, let’s go after Wayne Bent — his cult doesn’t use weapons to get its way. We will be safe going after him.”
Well children, I know that all of this logic doesn’t set well with most folks. I like logic, though. Most people would hardly think the thoughts I think, believing that they might get killed by somebody who doesn’t like their thoughts. I don’t have that fear, though. I am 68-1/2 years old. I have lived my life and made my conclusions. If they killed me, they would be taking nothing from me but my old age and the feebleness that goes with it. I cannot be threatened by death. I told the warden here that if he would make up a firing squad, I would volunteer to attend. I’d be first in line. He wasn’t too impressed with my spirit of volunteerism. I dropped the subject. Then Homeland Security could use rendition on me. I don’t like to think of being tortured in their water-boarding room.
Well, I just take what they dish out. Nothing lasts forever, and I refuse to give up God and Life for them.
Well, dear friends and family, this will all soon be over. The day of vengeance is just around the corner. It always comes. I love you all who reside in our little CULTure. I believe other people should have the right to be free in their own cults also. That is, except the media — no one should have the right to do what their cult does to people. I wince when I think of “Dr. Phil.” His psychiatrist on his show said that we did not have frontal lobes on our brains. Stupid man. Is it any wonder that we want to leave this world behind? Not to me. I don’t want to “experience the world properly.” That could be dangerous to one’s life and sanity.
I love you all, and I wish you all well. I think of you day and night, and hope you can stand earth’s gigantic contradictions for a bit more. It is a great big insane asylum on this ball of dirt, but soon we will transcend into our new spiritual house. That is the biblical promise, and my most joyful contemplation. I am weary of unjust courts, police, locked doors, bad food, razor wire, and the earth cult trying to persuade me to believe like they do. I like the Lord Our Righteousness culture — God put me in this one. I like where He put me. And I am glad others like the cult where they have been put. Their cult is okay with me for them to have. Just don’t force me to join it; I can’t be forced.
Precious family, in my prison I hold you close to my heart. God gives me prayers in the night and visions of His coming. My heart is more and more filled with joy and gladness as I see the day approaching.
The natural world is not better than a cult. They have movies like The End of The World Cult and other nonsense they make up. The people sit in front of a television and watch what they call “comedy” where people abuse each other for half an hour or more. Then there is what they call the “news”; most of it should be in Disney’s fantasy land. I have seen some of the “news” about me. Then they drink beer, wine and other drugs to alter their mental state. They might also take drugs for what they call “erectile dysfunction” — can you imagine that? They take drugs for a lot of other things, too. I have always wondered why they just don’t live normally — live a normal life instead of joining a legal drug culture. They have the public schools — those are schools that children are forced to go to against their will, sometimes. They are taught how they should view the world, they are forced to believe a certain way or they won’t pass their tests. I know, I attended them. Many of their children are drugged to keep them manageable. But with all the TV, video games, sugar and stuff, it’s a miracle they aren’t all crazy. I can’t name this cult; I can’t give it a name. I can’t think of one, nothing comes to me. But it is the earth, and it is the earth cult.
They call this a “free society.” Mr. Bush complained that the militant Muslims did not like our freedoms. Well, it is not free at all for me. Everyone is locked in a lockstep of behaving in just the right way, or punishments are dished out. Now, our own culture is a free one. We are about as free as one can get. We are so free that New Mexico came and got me and put me in prison so I would not be free anymore. They want me to conform to their cult. Can you imagine the US military saying what I say? — “Just do what is on your heart; follow your heart.” I’m really laughing now. Can you imagine the public schools teaching children to follow their heart? No, they had better follow the boss or wish they had. I don’t believe children should be punished and threatened or forced like in their cult. I believe children will respond to love, patience and reason.
But the earth cult lacks these qualities. Force and make-believe rules the earth cult. They think I do what they do, and it makes them mad; but I am not like they are. I am nothing like they are. I speak the truth, but I never force anyone to do anything. I never put anybody in a jail or a prison. The earth cult lies, then forces everyone to do what they think they should, in that lie.
When I was in school all the girls wore dresses. No girl ever wore pants. Now the cult has changed its norms and they all wear pants — very tight pants. They wear socially accepted name brand shoes. Their hair is fixed in a socially accepted manner. They use specific words. In prison here the socially accepted verb is — I don’t know if it’s a verb or adjective, but — capital “F***’n” this and capital “F***’s” that. The sentence cannot be formed without it.
The earth cult is the most common, and even the people from the religious cults join it — they act one way in their church cult and another way when not in church. The earth cult believes we came from apes; monkeys are our dads and moms. Seems to fit how they live in that cult.
When people leave our culture — and we have had some leave and join the earth cult — immediately they do things to themselves. They might get a tattoo or poke holes in their ears or other places, take mind altering legal drugs or a few illegal ones. They also do a lot of sex stuff, but they hide that so no one will know. Also I’ve noticed that they can’t forget us, but we are their problem forevermore.
But there is an answer to this. There is a reason people change. John 13:27 explains it. Judas was getting tired of Jesus’ cult. Jesus talked about loving God all the time, and he would pray at night and keep them awake, and he didn’t leave any room for a little earthly glory and pride. More and more, Judas became offended. Judas wanted to “experience the world properly,” and he also wanted to be in charge of a little of it. Jesus was home-schooled; he did not get educated where Judas did. Finally Judas could not stand it anymore, and the Scriptures record that Satan entered him. He died — spiritually, that is. His countenance changed and he became dark then. Jesus told him, “Go do what you have to do. Do it quickly.” Judas went right out and accepted the earth cult, and even made a little money by betraying Jesus in the process.
People that once knew God have joined the earth cult and died in the spirit. Adam and Eve joined the earth cult. Eve wanted to experience the world properly. And she wasn’t satisfied to just take instructions from her heavenly Husband. When Adam and Eve got tired of God’s cult, they became fearful. They were now afraid of Him and hid from him because they couldn’t be nakedly honest with Him about what they’d done. So God had to put animal skins on them, and He turned them into the form humans are today. They couldn’t be honest, and that’s why animal skins went on them — they acted like animals. In the earth cult, humans lie to themselves about themselves. When they leave God’s cult they start lying, hiding things and pretending things are different than what they are. And the way they deal with these lies is they get real secret about everything. They say, “Don’t talk to me about that.” They put on their animal skins — the skin they’re hiding behind.
Yes, we are strange; but the earth cult is stranger, and even dangerous. Someone from the earth cult got in his car to come and kill me once, because of some offense one of his family members made up. God broke his car engine and he never made it. But I have never gone out to kill someone who was offensive. None of our members have attempted murder. Yes, a lot of people hate me, like they hated Jesus, because I don’t believe in doing the extremely strange things and hurtful things that the earthly cult does. I believe in living normal.
I spoke with a doctor here who told me he almost did not get his medical license because he refused to do abortions. Just think — in the earth cult one must kill babies to be accepted. We don’t require people to kill babies in our cult. We don’t require a physician to stick his tool in an underage girl’s private parts and kill her unborn child. That is pretty bad, in my book. They put me in prison because I prayed wrong, but they don’t go to prison for very gross, cultish behavior because the earth cult carries the guns and runs the prisons and the courts. And the gross behavior is socially acceptable to them. They believe an unborn child is only a loose tooth or something. The child is a wart or mole — until someone murders the mother. Then they change the wart into a human again and the murderer is charged with two counts of murder.
But cults don’t always make sense. And the earth cult is the most insane of all. I believe that normal behavior is to listen to God’s voice to you, and then you follow it. That is about as simple as it gets. That is what heaven is like, and those who go to heaven must learn this in this life. The earth cult would never make it through the gates of heaven. They would never find the way.
I have written these things just to share a little bit about the power of name calling, and how it’s really fraudulent. Everybody is different from everyone else in one way or another. But they have to continually charge us with some offense to them, and call us a name or two. Jesus said if the world hates you, though, that it was something you should be glad about, because it meant you had a lot of treasures stored up in heaven. If the earth praises you, then you need to worry.
I hold your heart in mine. I hold your hands and feet. My life is yours.
Michael
