The Tree of Mammon
The scriptures tell the story of the beginning of this earthly experiment. It is the story of Adam and Eve. In the story, Adam and Eve were created, and coupled. They were given a garden to care for; it was called the garden of Eden. The couple was told that they could eat of any tree in the garden but one. It was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Some souls have called the tree an apple tree, but it is not an apple tree. The name of the tree is “Mammon.”
The couple who inhabited the garden were warned, “If you eat of that tree, in that day, you will die.” Adam and Eve both ate of the tree, and then died. It was then that God clothed them with animal skins, and they became like the beasts of the field. The spiritual life had passed away, and they became dead and lost.
The fruit of this tree is utterly defective. When one observes the tree from a distance, the fruit looks attractive, and good for food. The spirit of this fruit is the love of the world and the pride of life. I once knew a young person whose heart was for God. She prayed often, and she was a blessing to me. One day this young person stood by the tree, and Satan offered her the world, just as he offered it to Jesus. Jesus refused this fruit, but the young lady whom I refer to took the fruit and ate it, and immediately died. The Spirit left her, and her physical appearance even changed. She died on the day she ate this fruit. The fruit is attractive, but its core is wormy and rotten. It always leaves the soul bitter, and the stomach upset. The soul becomes fearful, easily deceived, judgmental, condemning, and offended.
Mammon is far more than money. It goes deep into the soul, and involves the full range of spirits. The greatest of these spirits is “in love.” Romance utterly poisons the soul, beguiling it into an earthly covenant. Earthly marriages began in Eden, when Adam and Eve turned to the mammon tree. Both Adam and Eve were cursed in that. Now she must depend on an earthly husband, and the husband must now get a job and support his wife. The spirit of Light had died, so now they would have suffering. The earthly marriage brought only pain, which included the murder of one son by another son. The rest is history, for even now, brothers kill brothers. The whole earth is bathed in misery, pride, hatred and woe.
Another deceptive spirit of the tree is one who is called “the American Dream.” It is almost as seductive as “in love.” The soul makes a lifelong commitment and covenant with worldly debt. The soul must spend the rest of its life making payments. If he can no longer pay, his home is taken from him. If one manages to pay his house off, he still must pay taxes on it. And if he cannot pay his taxes, his house is taken from him. People never own a home; this is only a deception of the fruit that they have eaten. The people remain in slavery, but their illusion is that they are free.
“Love of country” is another delusion. “I pledge allegiance to the flag.” No, they do not pledge allegiance to God, but to a cloth symbol of a civil state — the beast. This has led many thousands to their death, as each sovereign state makes war against another, each fighting each other over “love of country.” Those with the most fools and weapons of destruction, win. Each group is loyal to those who rule their state, pledging allegiance to a state symbol, and they get death or some other injury as a reward. They are maimed for the homeland.
God knows no state or boundary; He is not aware of race. He just knows people, and all of the civil hype is unrecognized by Him. “Eve, if you eat the fruit of the tree, the passionate nationalism of pride, you shall die.”
There is an interesting side note here, and that is that those who eat from the tree try very hard to get everyone else to eat from it also. Eve seduced Adam. If he had refused to eat, she might have even tried to kill him. I am in prison now because I refused to eat from that tree. I have seen some eat from the tree, and then immediately set out to kill me. They rode upon the back of the beast to force him to imprison me. Like Judas, for a few coins of advantage, they betray one who would not eat from the tree of human vanity.
Today, as I awakened from the night’s rest, I realized that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was nowhere in my garden anymore. God took it away.
I am reminded of this tree again when I see drug commercials. I am amazed at the utter stupidity of man. There are drugs for every ache and pain imaginable. Every kind of snake oil is offered the unsuspecting population. One drug that I saw, that was advertised to help a person breathe easier, had something called “side effects.” Some souls believe in side effects. I only believe in effects. The so-called side effects were dry mouth, sudden death, tuberculosis, vomiting, and headache. Then a nice lady says, “Ask your doctor if this drug is right for you.”
One of the most hilarious ads had to do with erectile dysfunction. The ad ended with a caution that if they stayed erect over four hours, they had better get back to the doctor and have it fixed.
I’m utterly astonished when men fail to see through their delusions. And they believe I am deceived. They eat from the tree and love their effects. They even seem to have a morbid fascination with their funerals. At the funeral the preachers tell the mourners that the deceased went to heaven. If that is true, why don’t we all go to heaven now, and skip all the rest of it?
Another spirit of the fruit is the “college education” spirit. Now, there is nothing wrong with being educated. I surely have been educated, especially since I was imprisoned for my faith in God. But education today is largely propaganda. A child or a child’s parents pay a lot of money to be brainwashed into the mammon cult. When I was in college I often thought, “Why am I paying so much money to have my mind messed with?” Why does man want to go to the moon, or Mars? He has not yet learned to live on this planet; why should he export his dysfunction to another world?
I used to believe that earth had a place to rest. I thought of a country home, retirement from the daily grind. I thought of a quiet place where I could come away. I moved to New Mexico, way out in the grasslands, forty miles from the county seat and down twenty-five miles of dirt road. But the engine in my car was hardly cool from the trip before the FBI, state police, and social services were all out to check us. They interviewed our children to see if I had had sex with them, and then the media spread the story that we were a suicide cult. Finally, after nine years, they just made up a sex story and put me in prison anyway.
No, there is no place on earth where God’s sons can live without being molested. If one is not a devotee of the mammon cult, watch out; the beast will come for him, as it is written. One must eat of the forbidden tree to be left alone. One must join the cult in order to not be put away. The New World Order will not tolerate one such as I.
If one does not eat from the tree, what does he get? Well, he gets what I got. I have no earthly possessions, but I do have a friend in God. He visits me in the morning, and in the cool of the evening. I have a heavenly Father; He gives me my daily work, He opens to me His plan. He gives me my daily manna, and He tells me what to do. I presently serve Him in prison. I take the fury of the mob for His name’s sake. Those who have eaten from the tree with the serpent in it put me here, but I am glad for it, for my eyes were opened to the natural dishonesty of man more than ever before. Also, this event has knit the hearts of God’s sons as never before.
I know the present world is passing away; soon there will only be ashes. The tree and those who eat of it will be thrown into the lake of fire. It is already kindled.
This world is not my home in any way. I have overcome the world; there is nothing in it that attracts me. I understand it, and its insanity offends my spirit. I would stay around if men were ignorant, but they love their deception, and even fight for it. They want no one to take the objects of their desires away from them. They do not want God; they have no need for Him. Some souls will tell me that; others lie, saying that they love God while gorging themselves on the forbidden fruit. I have seen this very widely in the TV evangelism. I have seen many souls partake of the tree. I have watched the light go out in their eyes. Then I have watched them blame me for how the fruit made them feel. They accused me of hurting people. They eat of the fruit, loving their moral lapse, and then accuse me of their consequences. Then they imprison me for their consequences. I only warned them; I did not force them to eat of it.
Who can figure this? Adam and Eve blamed God for what happened to them. God only warned them, but He did not make them eat. Who can figure? If I warn a child from touching a hot stove, and he touches it, is it my fault that his hand hurts? I have watched many go to hell, right after I warned them not to. Then they blame me for going to hell. Then I have watched them attack me, and defend hell at the same time. As they say, “Go figure.”
It is true that man was given to put my body in prison for a season, but nothing will imprison my Spirit. I told him that before. I will never die; my Spirit will always live. I continue to soar into the ether of my Father’s love. I already know that this world holds no promise for me; there is nothing in it that attracts me. The world subsists on lies and imaginations, but I must dwell only with the truth. I will never leave the truth.
The devil has left my garden, and there is no more tree of knowledge of good and evil. The devil can play his instrument, but I do not dance to it. He can sing, but I do not hear it. He can call, but I do not answer. The devil came to me, but finds nothing in me.
All that I have told the people is true. The beast has proven my words true, for he has done what I said he would do. The woman of falsehood rides upon his back, but my Bride is pure. I have married her unto God. She heard my heart call, and Eve is redeemed. She does not go to the tree anymore; she does not speak with the serpent, for she is married to my Spirit.
The earth persecutes us, seeking to take away our freedom of religion, but that only causes us to ascend even further from it. The world taunts and curses us, but that only makes us more deaf to its noise. I thank You, Father, for making Your people one, as we are one. Thank You for marrying us to Yourself. The earth has helped us to see its deceptions, and to reveal Your true Word. Now we only have God alone; that is enough. You are our glory, riches and crown. You are our light, and the only joy of our heart.
Those who eat of the forbidden tree want to go to college, fall in love, get married, travel the world, and see sights and hear sounds. They want to marry and give in marriage. The tree’s fruit looks good to them. They marry people, they marry the state, they marry their possessions. But those who love the world will not love God. His love is not in them. As with Adam and Eve, they are covered with animal skins. They think and act as do animals, the beasts of the field. But those who eat of the Tree of Life will never die, and the fruit of that tree never breeds worms.
